The Shared Technical Foundation

NexusFusion, NexusSentinel, and NexusNav are built on one common stack — fusion, edge intelligence, tracking, explainability, open architecture, and security.

01

Multi-Sensor Fusion

NexusFauna combines observations from different sensors into single, coherent tracks — rather than simply displaying separate feeds side by side. Measurements are associated across radar, EO, thermal, LiDAR, acoustic, and range sources, with timestamp and coordinate alignment, duplicate suppression, and classification fusion.

02

Edge Intelligence

Low-latency perception and fusion run where the data is produced — on NVIDIA Jetson, VOXL 2, rugged mini-PCs, Toughbooks, and RTX-class systems. Edge deployment keeps systems operating under limited bandwidth and supports fully offline operation.

03

Tracking and Uncertainty

Targets carry persistent track IDs with predicted motion, confidence, and covariance. When sensors disagree or coverage degrades, the system operates in explicit degraded modes — uncertainty is propagated and surfaced, never hidden.

04

Explainable Decision Support

Operators can inspect the reasons behind every alert, classification, and threat rating — which sensors contributed, how confident each was, and why the assessment was made. Human accountability is a design requirement, not an afterthought.

05

Open Architecture

Replaceable sensor adapters, documented APIs, containerized services, and C2 interoperability via CoT, ATAK, SAPIENT, REST, and WebSocket. NexusFauna systems integrate into existing infrastructure rather than replacing it.
